Our Story

ZENI was never meant to become a company.

It started with a little boy we love dearly — our nephew.

Like many children today, he struggled with focus, emotional regulation, and overwhelming moments that made everyday life more challenging than it should have been. As his family searched for solutions, they found themselves facing difficult choices. While some approaches helped in certain ways, they also seemed to take away parts of what made him uniquely himself.

The bright, funny, curious child we knew was still there, but something felt missing.

As two female founders and devoted family members, we couldn't stop asking ourselves a simple question:

Was there a better way to support children and families naturally?

So we started researching.

And researching.

And researching some more.

What began as late-night Google searches quickly turned into months of reading scientific papers, clinical studies, ingredient research, and expert publications from around the world. We became obsessed with understanding which natural ingredients had the strongest evidence behind them.

Again and again, one ingredient kept appearing in the research:

Saffron.
